WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NETS 4TH SEED IN NCAA NORTHEAST REGIONAL
The Pace University women's basketball team has been chosen as the
#4 seed in the upcoming NCAA Division II Northeast Regional.
Pace will square off against #5 Holy Family on Friday, March 10th
at Soutehrn Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT.
Pace, at 21-7, was one of five Northeast-10 Conference team
selected to the Northeast Regional, along with #1 Southern
Connecticut (27-3), #2 Stonehill (23-6), #3 American International
(21-7) and #6 St. Rose (19-12). The University of New Haven
took the #7 spot at 23-6 while University Philadelphia of the
Sciences took the #8 spot at 23-7. Southern Connecticut
clinched the #1 spot after winning the Northeast-10 Conference
tournemant, while New Haven won the NYCAC and Philadelphia Sciences
won the CACC Tournament.
American International will square off against St. Rose, New Haven
will face Stonehill and Southern Connecticut will play Philadelphia
Sciences. Pace has never played Holy Family.
