SETTERS WIN SEASON OPENER, 69-58, OVER CONCORDIA
The Concordia College women's basketball team lost their
2005-2006 season opener to the Setters of Pace University by the
score of 69-58 tonight at the Meyer Athletic Center.
The Clippers were led by senior center Monique Mighty (Hackensack,
NJ), who tallied a game high 23 points on 9 for 15 shooting. Mighty
also added 5 points from the free throw line. Senior forward Pam
Karagiorgos (Norwalk, CT) poured in a double-double with 19 points
and 11 rebounds. Senior guard Tiffany Daley (Elmont, NY) also added
10 points.
The Setters were led by Andrea Padelsky, who scored a team high 20
points. Stephanie Klingele added 12 points for Pace and Ashley
Wallace scored 10 points.
