ASHLEY WALLACE NAMED NE-10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK

SOUTH EASTON, MA - Senior Ashley Wallace (Oswego, NY/Oswego) was named the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending February 11th.  For her efforts, Wallace was also named to the PrestoSports/Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) Honor Roll.

Wallace averaged 25.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in a pair of NE-10 Conference games. In a 58-53 win over Le Moyne College on Wednesday 2/7, she netted 20 points and grabbed nine boards; then on Saturday 2/11, Wallace tallied a career-high 31 points, shooting 15-for-17 from the field, while adding six rebounds, in a 79-65 victory, over Southern New Hampshire University.

Wallace surpassed the 1,000-career points plateau against Le Moyne, becoming the 21st player in Pace University Women's Basketball history to do so. She is now up to 20th all-time with 1,039 career points. Wallace is also 15th on the Pace all-time rebounds list with 591 career rebounds. She is the 12th player in Pace history to surpass 1,000 career points and 500 career rebounds.

Wallace has been one of the Setters main scoring threats this season, leading the team in points scored (318), scoring average (13.3), field goals made (133), and field goal percentage, shooting 56.1% (133-for-237). She is tied for seventh in the NE-10 in scoring, 20th in the conference in rebounding (6.0 rpg) and is ranked second in field goal percentage.
