ASHLEY WALLACE TO PLAY PRO BALL IN EUROPE
FORMER SETTER TO CONTINUE HER HOOPS CAREER IN ESTONIA

PLEASANTVILLE, NY- Former Pace University women's basketball player and 1,000 point scorer Ashley Wallace (Oswego, NY/Oswego) signed a pro contract to play for TPÜ Spordiklubi in Tallinn, Estonia in the Baltic League. The former Setter standout completed her four-year career for Pace this past spring, finishing with 1,188 points, good for 11th place all-time in school history. In addition, she is one of twelve players in Setter history to score 1,000 points and grab 500 rebounds, totaling 645 rebounds for thirteenth place all-time.

Wallace had a solid senior campaign in which she earned NE-10 All-Conference Second Team honors as well as being named First Team All-Met. She has set career highs this season in points with 467, rebounds with 199, steals with 33, blocks with 19 and field goal percentage shooting 56.5%. On December 16, 2006 at Le Moyne, she became the 21st member of Pace's 500 rebound club. On February 7 also against Le Moyne, she became the 21st member of the 1,000 point club. The following game against Southern New Hampshire, she notched a new career-high with 31 points. She ranked 2nd in the NE-10 in field goal percentage, 6th in scoring and 19th in total rebounds, while placing 10th in the nation in field goal percentage. Wallace was a two-time NE-10 Player of the Week this season, while being named on the conference Honor Roll seven times. She was also named to the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Honor Roll three times this season.
