Overview:
Mooney is a tough, solid point guard... Has good court
awareness and passing ability... she can also hit the open shot...
Coach Seymour on Laura, "Laura is our most improved player from
last year. She worked very hard in the off-season and is playing
with a high level of confidence. She is a tough competitor and will
play the point or off-guard position for us this year."
2006-07:
Appeared in all 33 games starting one as a freshman... Second on
the team in assists totaling 85 on the season... Finished eighth on
the freshman record list for three-pointers in a season... Ranks
sixth on the school freshman record list in assists in a
season...Averaged 2 points a game with a career-high 8 points
coming in against Southern New Hampshire on 12/2/06.
At St. John Villa:
Team MVP in 2004-05 and 2005-06... Coach's Award recipient in
2003-04... 2003-04 MVP in Tennis
