The Greyhounds would rally back, taking a small lead but a pair of Losey trifectas put the Setters back ahead by two 22-20 with 8:33 left in the half. Assumption pushed ahead of the Setters by six points, but two Losey free throws and back-to-back lay-ups by Stephanie Rossmy (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa) in the final two minutes of play drew the Setters back even at 28 going into halftime. Losey hit four three-pointers, finishing with 18 points in the opening half.

On the ensuing Setter possession, Stephanie Klingele (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa) put Pace back up by two with a jumper. The Greyhounds would turn the ball over on their next possession and a pair of Klingele's free throws extended the Pace lead to four. Christine Fitzgerald (San Diego, CA/Mt. Miguel) would cap the scoring with two more from the charity stripe with under 10 seconds to play, giving the Setters a key upset victory over the Greyhounds.

For Pace, Losey finished with game-highs of 21 points and five steals, while shooting 5-for-11 from downtown and 7-for-14 from the field. Klingele tallied 14 points, five boards and three assists. Rossmy recorded a double-double with 12 points and a career-high 18 rebounds.
