WALTHAM, MA – The Pace University women’s soccer team defeated the Bentley College Falcons, 2-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up. The win moves Pace to 6-6-2 overall and 4-5-2 in the Northeast-10 Conference. Bentley drops to 5-9 overall and 2-9 in NE-10 play.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Pace University women’s soccer team lost a non-conference game to Holy Family University, 2-1 in overtime, in Philadelphia, PA. The Setters fall to 5-6-2 overall while Holy Family goes to 7-3-2 overall.

WOMEN'S SOCCER SHOCKS #17 UMASS LOWELL, WIN 2-1
PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Pace University women’s soccer team defeated the University of Massachusetts Lowell, 2-1, in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up at Pace Field on the Briarcliff campus of Pace University. The win moves Pace to 5-5-2 overall and 3-5-2 in the Northeast-10 Conference. UMass Lowell, who entered the game ranked 17th in the latest adidas/NSCAA Division II national ranking, drops to 7-2-3 overall and 7-1-1 in NE-10 play.

SETTERS AND OWLS BATTLE TO 2-2 TIE
PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Pace University women’s soccer team went to double overtime for the second consecutive game, this time coming away with a 2-2 tie with Southern Connecticut State University. Pace goes to 4-5-2 overall and 2-5-2 in the Northeast-10 Conference while Southern Connecticut goes to 3-5-2 and 0-5-2 in conference play.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Pace University women’s soccer team lost to the Franklin Pierce College Ravens 1-0, in double overtime in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up at Pace Field on the Briarcliff campus of Pace University. The Setters fall to 4-5-1 overall and 2-5-1 in the NE-10, while Franklin Pierce improves to 6-2 overall and 5-2 in conference play.

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The Pace University women’s soccer team lost to Northeast-10 Conference opponent, the Merrimack College Warriors , 3-2 in overtime, in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up in North Andover, MA. With the lose, Pace drops to 4-3-1 overall and 2-3-1 in the NE-10 while Merrimack improves to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in conference play.

MELILLI’S GOAL, ASSIST LIFT PACE TO 4-1 WIN OVER AMERICAN INT’L
PLEASANTVILLE, NY – Sophomore Casey Melilli (Poughkeepsie, NY/Our Lady of Lourdes) scored her first career goal and assisted on another for the first points of her career. Pace used three first half goals to down Northeast-10 Conference opponent, American International College, 4-1, in a game played at Pace Field on the Briarcliff campus of Pace University.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The Pace University women’s soccer team and Southern New Hampshire University battled to a 0-0, double overtime tie in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up at Pace Field on the Briarcliff campus of Pace University. The tie puts the Setters at 3-2-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the NE-10 while Southern New Hampshire goes to 1-1-3 overall and 1-1-2 in conference play.

SETTERS BLANK ST. MICHAEL’S, 1-0
PLEASANTVILLE, NY – Allison Levine (Endicott City, MD/Wikk Lake) scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season and Jocelyne Durando (Monroe, NY/Monroe-Woodbury) recorded her third shutout in four games as Pace defeated St. Michael’s College, 1-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up at Pleasantville High School in Pleasantville, NY.

WOMEN'S SOCCER GAME MOVED TO SUNDAY
The Pace University women's soccer team's game against Saint Michael's College, originally scheduled for Saturday, September 2nd at 12:00 p.m. before it was moved to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, has once again be moved. The game will now be played on Sunday, September 3, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasantville (NY) High School.

WOMEN'S SOCCER AND FOOTBALL START TIMES CHANGED
The Pace University Department of Athletics has announced that the women's soccer and football games scheduled for Saturday, September 2, 2006 have been rescheduled. The women's soccer game, originally scheduled for 12:00 p.m. will be played at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the football game, originally scheduled for 1:00 p.m., has been moved to 11:00 a.m.

SMITHFIELD, RI – The Pace University women’s soccer team was held to just two shots on goal as the Bryant University Bulldogs defeated the Setters, 1-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up in Smithfield, RI. Pace drops to 2-1 overall and 0-1 in the NE-10 while Bryant improves to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
