DWYER-SHICK NAMED HEAD WOMEN’S SOCCER COACH
PLEASANTVILLE, NY – Pace University Director of Athletics Joseph O’Donnell has announced the hiring of Sarah J. Dwyer-Shick as Head Women’s Soccer Coach effective immediately.

LUDEWIG NAMED TO THE 2007 NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE WOMEN’S SOCCER ALL-CONFERENCE THIRD TEAM
SOUTH EASTON, MA – Senior captain Kimberly Ludewig (Washingtonville, NY/Washingtonville) has been named to the 2007 Northeast-10 Conference Women’s Soccer All-Conference Third Team as voted on by the conference’s 15 head coaches.

SOCCER FALLS TO BRYANT 2-0 IN SEASON FINALE
SMITHFIELD, RI- The Pace women’s soccer team dropped their 2007 season finale to Bryant University 2-0 in a Northeast-10 Conference game. The Setters finish their season at 4-12-2 overall and 1-11-2 in the NE-10, while the Bulldogs remain undefeated at 16-0-4 overall and 11-0-3 in conference play.

WOMEN’S SOCCER FALLS TO ST. ANSELM 2-1
Manchester, NH - Freshman Jennifer Pearl (Stoughton, MA) scored the game-winning goal in the second half to lift Saint Anselm to a 2-1 win over Pace University in Northeast-10 women's soccer action. With the win, the Hawks improve to 9-7-3 overall and 6-5-3 in the Northeast-10, while Pace falls to 4-11-2 and 1-10-2 in league play.

LUDEWIG NAMED TO THE 2007 NE-10 WOMEN’S SOCCER ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
Senior captain Kimberly Ludewig (Washingtonville, NY/Washingtonville) has been named to the 2007 Northeast-10 Conference Women’s Soccer All-Academic Second Team. Ludewig has a cumulative GPA of 3.61 majoring in Marketing. This season, Ludewig has started in all 16 games, netting a pair of goals to go along with two assists for six points, tying her for second on the team in goals, assists and points. This is the second time that Ludewig has been named to the conference all-academic team as she was named to the second-team in 2006.

SOCCER DROPS HEARTBREAKER TO ASSUMPTION 1-0
BRIARCLIFF, NY- The Pace women’s soccer team dropped a heartbreaker to Assumption 1-0, as the Greyhounds netted the game-winning score with 25 seconds left in the game. The Setters drop to 4-10-2 overall and 1-9-2 in the Northeast-10, while the Greyhounds improve to 4-11-1 and 3-10-0 in conference play.

STONEHILL SNAPS SOCCER’S TWO-GAME STREAK, 2-0
BRIARCLIFF, NY- The Skyhawks of Stonehill College snapped the Pace women’s soccer two-game winning streak, defeating the Setters, 2-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference game played at Pace Briarcliff campus. The Setters drop to 4-9-2 overall and 1-8-2 in conference play, while the Skyhawks improve 7-4-2 overall and 7-2-2 in the NE-10.

WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM BLANKS NEW YORK TECH 3-0
OLD WESTBURY, NY- The Pace women's soccer team coasted to a 3-0 shutout victory over New York Tech as freshman Lara Bodenstab (Kennett Square, PA/Unionville) netted two goals. The Setters improve to 4-8-2 overall, while the Bears drop to 5-8-0.

BREAULT NETS GAME-WINNER AS SETTERS CLIP FALCONS, 2-1
BRIARCLIFF, NY – With just :53 seconds remaining in the game, junior Katelyn Breault (Andover, CT/RHAM) slid the would be game-winning shot into the bottom right corner just past the diving keeper, lifting the Pace University women’s soccer team over the Falcons of Bentley College 2-1 at Pace Field in Northeast-10 Conference women’s soccer action. The Setters improve to 3-8-2 overall on the season and 1-7-2 in NE-10 play, while the Falcons drop to 7-6-1 overall and 4-5-1 in conference play.

LOWELL, MA – The Pace University women’s soccer team dropped a Northeast-10 Conference match to the River Hawks of the University of Massachusetts - Lowell by the score of 2-0. The Setters fall to 2-8-2 overall and 0-7-2 in NE-10 play, while the River Hawks improve to 7-5 overall and 3-5 in conference play.

BRIARCLIFF, NY- The Pace women's soccer team lost to the Owls of Southern Connecticut State University, 1-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference game played at Pace Briarcliff campus. The Setters drop to 2-7-2 overall and 0-6-2 in conference play, while the Owls improve 4-4-2 overall and 1-4-1 in the NE-10.

RINDGE, NH- The Pace women's soccer team lost to the #17 ranked Ravens of Franklin Pierce University, 3-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference game. The Setters drop to 2-6-2 overall and 0-5-2 in conference play, while the Ravens improve 6-1-2 overall and 4-1-2 in the NE-10.

The Setters move to 2-4-2 overall on the season and 0-3-2 in NE-10 play, while the Warriors go to 5-0-3 overall and 2-0-2 in conference play.

BRIARCLIFF, NY- The Pace women's soccer team lost to #11 College of Saint Rose, 2-0, in the Setters Northeast-10 Conference home opener on Pace’s Briarcliff this afternoon. The Setters drop to 2-2-1 overall and 0-1-1 in conference play, while the Golden Knights improve 2-0-1 overall and 1-0-1 in the NE-10.

COLCHESTER, VT- The women's soccer team tied Saint Michael’s College, 1-1, in the Setters Northeast-10 Conference season opener. The Setters move to 2-1-1 overall and 0-0-1 in conference play, while the Purple Knights are 2-0-1 overall and 0-0-1 in the NE-10.

TIFFANY ROBINSON NAMED NE-10 CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
SOUTH EASTON, MA – Pace University junior Tiffany Robinson (Shelton, CT/Shelton) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference women’s soccer Co-Player of the Week for the week ending August 26th. Sophomore Jacqueline Gogel (Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) and freshman Cynthia Mendoza (Costa Mesa, CA/Costa Mesa) were also honored for the week being named to the weekly honor roll.

PACE, LE MOYNE COMPLETE PERFECT WEEKEND AT KICKOFF CLASSIC
BRIARCLIFF, NY – The Pace University and Le Moyne College women’s soccer teams completed their perfect start to the season as both scored victories in the Day 2 finale of the Pace University Women’s Soccer Kickoff Classic. Le Moyne defeated Dominican College 3-0 in the opener, while the Setters wrapped up their perfect weekend, downing Saint Thomas Aquinas 4-0. The Setters and Dolphins improve to 2-0, while the Chargers and Spartans drop to 0-2.

PACE AND LE MOYNE VICTORIOUS IN KICK-OFF CLASSIC OPENER
BRIARCLIFF, NY – Both Pace University and Le Moyne College were victorious in day one of the 2007 Pace University Kick-Off Classic. The Setters defeated Dominican College 4-2 in game one, while the Dolphins defeated Saint Thomas Aquinas College 5-1 in the second game. Pace and Le Moyne both move to 1-0 on the season, while Dominican and St. Thomas Aquinas both fall to 0-1.

WOMEN’S SOCCER PICKED TO FINISH 11TH IN THE NORTHEAST-10
SOUTH EASTON, MA – As voted on by the conferences 15 women’s soccer coaches, the Pace University women’s soccer team has been picked to finish 11th in the 2007 NE-10 Women’s Soccer Preseason Coaches’ Poll, receiving 79 points. The Setters finished the 2006 season with a 5-6-3 record, falling one point shy of earning a possible berth into the eight-team conference tournament.
