WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM BLANKS NEW YORK TECH 3-0

OLD WESTBURY, NY- The Pace women's soccer team coasted to a 3-0 shutout victory over New York Tech as freshman Lara Bodenstab (Kennett Square, PA/Unionville) netted two goals. The Setters improve to 4-8-2 overall, while the Bears drop to 5-8-0.

The Setters struck first as junior Tiffany Robinson (Shelton, CT/Shelton) scored in the 15th minute off an assist from Jacki Munson (Cornwall, NY/Cornwall Central). Bodenstab put the Setters up 2-0 in the 26th minutes, scoring with on Munson's second assist of the day. Bodenstab would close out the scoring in the second half as Dania D'Alessandro (Victor, NY/Victor) assisted on the goal in the 65th minute of play.

In net for the Setters, Alexa DAgostino (Highland Mills, NY/Cornwall Central) recorded her second shutout of the season, playing the entire game, while tallying three saves in the victory.

The Setters return to action when they host Stonehill College in a Northeast-10 Conference game on Senior Day, this Saturday, October 13 scheduled for a 3:30 pm kickoff.
