STONEHILL SNAPS SOCCER'S TWO-GAME STREAK, 2-0
SENIOR CAPTAIN KIM LUDEWIG HONORED AFTER THE GAME ON SENIOR DAY

BRIARCLIFF, NY- The Skyhawks of Stonehill College snapped the Pace women's  soccer two-game winning streak, defeating the Setters, 2-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference game played at Pace Briarcliff campus. The Setters drop to 4-9-2 overall and 1-8-2 in conference play, while the Skyhawks improve 7-4-2 overall and 7-2-2 in the NE-10.

Stonehill got on the board early as Caitlin McEvily shot hit the post and deflected into the net past Setter keeper Alexa DAgostino (Highland Mills, NY/Cornwall Central). Kirstie St. Martin was credited an assist on the goal in the fourth minute of play.

The Skyhawks tacked on a second half goal as Lauren Boyd netted the Stonehill's second and final score of the afternoon in the 73rd minute. For the game, the Setters totaled six shots but only one shot on goal, while Stonehill recorded 20 shots, with eight being on goal.

In net for the Setters, DAgostino went the distance, stopping six shots and allowing two goals. For Stonehill, Alex Eckhardt also played 90 minutes, recording one saves and the shutout.

Following the game, the Setters honored Senior Captain Kim Ludewig (Washingtonville, NY/Washingtonville) for stellar four-year career with the Setters. During her time at Pace, Ludewig has totaled 40 points, including 13 goals and 14 assists. She currently ranks eighth all-time in points, seventh in goals, and fourth in assists, while also playing in 68 games, good for ninth all time in school history.

The Setters return to action when they host Assumption College on Wednesday, October 17 in a Northeast-10 game scheduled for a 3:30 pm kickoff.
