SOCCER FALLS TO BRYANT 2-0 IN SEASON FINALE

SMITHFIELD, RI- The Pace women's soccer team dropped their 2007 season finale to Bryant University 2-0 in a Northeast-10 Conference game. The Setters finish their season at 4-12-2 overall and 1-11-2 in the NE-10, while the Bulldogs remain undefeated at 16-0-4 overall and 11-0-3 in conference play.

Bryant's Kim Rich provided the scoring on the day as she scored both of the Bulldogs' goals. The first goal came in the 28th minute and the final goal came in the 78th minute of play. Bryant took 26 shots for the game with 16 coming on goal, while the Setters took four total shots and two on goal.

Pace senior Kimberly Ludewig (Washingtonville, NY/Washingtonville) took both shots on goal for Pace and wrapped up her career eighth all-time in points with 40, seventh in goals with 13 and fourth in assists with 14.

In net for the Setters, Alexa D'Agostino (Highland Mills, NY/Cornwall Central) went the distance, stopping 14 shots, 10 in the second half and allowing both goals. For Bryant, Jessica Neales played the first half, recording one save, while Katie Mitchell came on in relief, playing the entire second half, also posting one save.
