SETTERS FALL TO PENMEN IN NORTHEAST-10 OPENER

MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Pace University women's soccer team lost 5-0 in its Northeast-10 Conference opener against Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire this afternoon. The Setters fall to 1-1-1 overall and start 0-1 in the NE-10, while the Penmen improve to 2-1-1 overall and 1-0-1 in conference play.

The Penmen outshot the Setters 28-2 on the afternoon, and were led by Brittany Roberts who netted two goals off the bench.

Pace goalkeeper Courtany Hagen (New Paltz, NY/New Paltz) was in the net for the entire second half allowing three goals, and saving seven shots. Monique Morey (Port Orchard, WA/South Kitsap) was in goal for the Setters in the first allowing two goals, and saving two shots.

The Setters resume play on Tuesday, September 8 when they come back home to play conference opponent Le Moyne College at 4:00 pm on Pace's Briarcliff campus.
