SETTERS FALL TO GREYHOUNDS IN SEASON FINALE

BRIARCLIFF, NY- The Pace University women's soccer team fell to the Greyhounds of Assumption College this evening by a 2-0 score. The Setters end their season with an overall record of 1-17-1, and 0-15-0 in the Northeast-10 Conference. The Greyhounds finish their season with a 7-9-1 overall record, while ending with a 7-7-1 record in conference play.

Assumption started things early, when Emily Ustanowski netted a goal in the second minute of the match. Freshman Molly Kessler dished out the assist.

Looking to add some insurance to their score, Senior Kelly DeWalt scored the second and final goal in the 22nd minute of the match-up. Kessler would once again earn the assist.

An aggressive game was played by both teams, as there were 25 fouls called altogether. The Setters totaled 13 of those fouls.

The Greyhounds outshot the Setters 11-3 in the match.

Courtany Hagen (New Paltz, NY/New Paltz) went the distance in goal for the Setters making three saves against Assumption in the season finale.

Goalkeeper Lauren Keating also went the distance in the match-up for the Greyhounds, making two saves.
