Sarah Dwyer-Shick enters her first season as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Pace.

Dwyer-Shick comes from Marist following a two-year stint as the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach. At Marist, she was responsible for training the goalkeepers and coordinating youth clinics and tournaments, while assisting in on-field training sessions.

Prior to Marist, she served as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Vassar and guided the Brewers to their best Liberty League finish in school history.

Prior to her coaching experience at Vassar, Dwyer-Shick was an assistant at Stony Brook University (2002-2003) and South Dakota State University (2000-2002). At SDSU, she was on the staff of the first ever women's soccer team in the history of the institution. She also helped coordinate the schools first ever recognition and celebration of National Girls and Women in Sport Day in her first year. Because the program experienced a great deal of success in the first year, Dwyer-Shick and South Dakota State received a grant for the school from NAGWS and Nissan for the second year of the celebration.

Dwyer-Shick began her coaching career at the University of Northern Colorado from '96-98. While there, she helped lead the Bears to back-to-back conference championships and NCAA Division II Tournament appearances.

In addition to her wealth of collegiate coaching experience, Dwyer-Shick has earned the Advanced National Diploma and Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. She is also certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Dwyer-Shick received a B.A. in American Studies and a minor in Sports Studies from Smith College in May of 1996. She then went on to get her Masters in Sports Management from the University of Denver in 2000.

In her playing days, Dwyer-Shick played soccer for both the Smith College and the University of Denver. She also played lacrosse at Denver.

Dwyer-Shick also coaches with the Olympic Development Program for Eastern New York North. She has also coached with the Vogelsinger Soccer Academy since the summer of 2004.

Currently, Dwyer-Shick lives in Beacon, New York with her husband Andy.
