YOUNG NAMED TO NORTHEAST-10 CROSS COUNTRY ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

SOUTH EASTON, MA - The Northeast-10 Conference has announced the members of the 2007 Men's and Women's Cross Country All-Academic Teams. To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) participated in at least half of the team's competitions and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and 3) completed at least one academic year at his/her current institution. The Northeast-10 All-Academic Teams are chosen by a vote of the Northeast-10 Sports Information Directors.

Senior Erica Young (Brooklyn, NY/West Plains) was named to the 2007 Northeast-10 Women's Cross Country All-Academic First Team, as the Management major has posted a cumulative 3.73 GPA.

Young has been Pace's best runner this season as she has been the first Setter to cross the finish line in every event. Young's best finish of the year was her fifth place finish at the Golden Knights Cross Country Joust, hosted by The College of Saint Rose.
